If you still yearn for the genuine engineering of BMW’s 3 Series, you don’t have to look far. In its 5th generation, the 3 Series maintains its benchmarking status for entry-level luxury cars. The 328 trim features 328xi and 328i models of the sedan, wagon and coupe.

Available in all-wheel-drive, the 328 trim comes standard with 16-inch alloy wheels, heated side mirrors, automatic climate control and a 10-speaker CD stereo. Premium and Sports Packages are also available for each trim. The Premium Package includes Bluetooth, BMW Assist telematics, power seats and leather upholstery. The Sports Package has larger wheels, sport seats and performance tires.

High quality and sleek design is part of the luxurious interior for the BMW 3 series. The sedans and sports wagons are able to seat five comfortably, while the coupe seats four. A remote places the usual entry key, with a start/stop button for the engine.

Producing 230 horsepower, all 328’s has the 3.0-liter inline-six-cylinder engine that gets 200 pounds-feet of torque. The 3 Series remains very fuel efficient for the 328, getting about 17-18 mpg in the city and 25-28 on the highway.

Antilock brakes and the electronic stability system come standard. Dynamic brake control, run-flat tires, full-length side curtain airbags and front-seat side airbags also come with the 328 trims.
