2008 BMW 6 Series Review, Pictures & Video

Available as a coupe or convertible, the BMW 6 Series is a sports car that exceeds expectations. Both the convertible and coupe drive with either an automatic or manual six-speed transmission. With a 360 horsepower 4.8-liter V8 engine, the 6 Series will blow you away, without any noise either.
The inside of both the coupe and convertible can comfortably seat four, and these potential four passengers sit on Dakota Leather upholstery, bask in automatic climate control and easily breathe with a Micro-filter ventilation system. The convertible gets a fully lined power soft-top that features a heated rear glass window that is completely independent from the retractable top. The technologies found inside the 6 Series models are equally as riveting as the comforts. The driver’s job is made easier with a Navigation System that features voice feedback and Real Time Traffic Information. The iDrive system allows fully customizable options for the audio on the Logic7 system, and numerous other comfort and luxury features.
The driver also gets to see how the vehicle is doing with the Expanded Check Control vehicle monitor system, and the external conditions are kept in check with the exterior temperature display. The engine start/stop button is another inventive feature you’ll find within the 2008 model. You wouldn’t want any of this to spoil in the event of the worst-case scenario. To start, there are frontal airbags, front-seat side-impact airbags, active knee protection and active head restraints all ready to cushion any sort of collision. The Dynamic Stability Control electronic stability control system, antilock brakes, adaptive brake lights, automatic-locking retractors, and lane-departure-warning system all further add to the safe shell surround the 6 Series models.
The 2008 models accelerate like a bullet, have tight turning capabilities, provide acute comfort for the inner occupants and have an external design that is sure to catch a number of glances. This luxury sports model is hard to pass up!
