Ich Bin Ein 3-Series – BMW GT Debut in Frantfurt?
In 2012 the Mayan calendar ends, which some speculate may be a precursor to the end of life as we know it on Earth. If that’s the case, BMW should speed up production on their supposed 2012 3-Series GT concept. BMW released their 5-Series concept earlier this year, and have speculated that a 3-Series GT is close behind.

It could be a smart move, since the 3-Series has been one of most popular, and highly profitable, BMW models since its inception during the 1970′s. Of course the company will base it’s decision to bring out a smaller GT (our feature picture in an artist rendering by teknikens) based on coming reactions to the 5-Series.

Keep your fingers crossed that audiences continue to enjoy the BMW GT concept at auto shows to come, and hope that we’ll be seeing a 3-Series variant by year’s end.
